Evan W. Reynolds, PhD

Evan was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. He obtained a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Virginia in 2012. He then pursued graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2017. He joined the faculty of Campbell University in the fall of 2017. Evan is passionate about science education and serving as a mentor to young scientists. The child of a Honduran immigrant, Evan is also an advocate for increasing diversity in science and actively works to support students from underrepresented backgrounds. In his free time, Evan enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering at his church, and being outdoors, especially while swimming, biking or running.
