It’s with mixed feelings that I am leaving Campbell University and moving to Virginia to start a new position as Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Randolph-Macon College. I am forever grateful to Campbell for giving me my start as a faculty member and supporting my professional growth. I will miss my colleagues and the students here immensely, but I am excited to join a great team at RMC and continue my journey!
Next to one of the first pieces of equipment I bought at Campbell, the MaxQ shaker! This guy was a workhorse for our lab. It’s amazing how far we’ve come together since I started in 2017.
Ceremoniously removing the last culture from the shaker at Campbell. Part of this guy will travel with me to RMC as a glycerol stock!
Lab is cleaned up and ready for the next biochemist to take over! I wish I had a picture of this space when I first started in 2017. It’s come a long way.
